Just when you thought only your girlfriend/boyfriend fancy-your-tickle, think again..... Our Voorsprung friends have done it yet again as they recently launched a fancy-tickling package-of-awesomeness......

Aesthetic appeal combined with breathtaking performance contributes to Audi's new package-of-awesomeness - called the Audi R8 V10.

At 8,000 rpm a state-of-the-art 5.2-litre V10 engine develops 386Kw and the 530Nm of torque (at 6,500 rpm) teleports the beast from 0 to 100km/h in 3.9 seconds. Another 4.2 seconds later the beast will be doing 200km/h thanks to the sequentially shifting R-tronic gearbox. After the 200 mark you're headed for 'warp-speed-captain' - a whapping top speed of 316km/h!

Not only does the new Audi R8 V10 go like a rocket, the design is also very striking with its precision styling of the lines. The wide/full shape body is made out of lightweight aluminum.

Having 530Nm of pony power configured in a V-format under the hood, one would think that the beast would be very thirsty. The Audi R8 V10 with R-tronic gets by on an average of 13.7 litres per 100 km, thanks to the racing technology developed and refined throughout the victory streak at Le Mans. The racing technologies introduced in the R8 V10 includes dry sump lubrication with direct FSI injection and a naturally aspirated engine.

Oh yes - don't forget the all-wheel drive quattro system!

The R8 V10's turn signals, daytime running lights, high beam and low beam all consists of LEDs. The all-LED headlight system comes standard - as Audi was the first automaker in the World to introduce such a system in a car. The light produced by the LEDs make night driving less tiring to the eyes, as it closely resembles daylight. The 'daylight' effect is achieved by generating a colour temperature of 6000 Kelvin.

A standard R8 V10 also comes with a Bang & Olufsen sound system, Nappa leather seat covers (heatable) and a colour screen Sat Nav system. R8 options include a rear-view integrated camera as part of the advanced parking system and ultra durable brake discs made from carbon fibre reinforced ceramic material (also has 8-piston fixed callipers at the front).
